Strandgården has a unique location by the sea where sun and salty winds meet. Here you will find simple and good affordable accommodation and camping for everyone. The farm's restaurant, ice cream café and kiosk are open during the summer. Sometimes we sell fresh bread from the bakery. The summer program is varied and adapted for both children and adults. The farm arranges services, devotionals, activities for families, children and young people, art exhibitions, concerts and various theme weeks. Visit Strandgården, experience nature and walk on the beach meadows in the nature reserve or make day trips by bike.
At Strandgården you live two minutes from the beach and can enjoy the sun and salty winds. Start the day with a dip and enjoy breakfast from the veranda overlooking the sea.

LOCATION:
Strandgården is located in Vilshärad northwest of Halmstad. The farm is located on a headland surrounded by the sea 140 km south of Gothenburg and 160 km north of Malmö with only a 1,5 hour drive to the two major cities. From Stockholm, take the E4 straight on to Halmstad, which takes approximately 6 hours by car.From the farm you reach the sandy beach in two minutes with wonderful swimming and one of the west coast's best places for surfing. Haverdals nature reserve is right next door and hiking and biking trails pass the farm.
There are about ten golf courses in the Halmstad area.
FACILITY:
At Strandgården there are about 40 rooms, from single rooms to 6-bed rooms, with different standards. There is a campsite for tents, caravans and mobile homes. There is a service facility with hygiene areas, laundry room and kitchen with dining areas if you do not want to eat in the restaurant. We have a sauna that you can book as well as bike rental.CONFERENCES:
In the courtyard there are several meeting rooms, conference and group rooms for meetings and conferences that can accommodate from 10 to 175 people. The yard provides projector, WIFI, flipchart, whiteboard, TV and anything else you need for a good conference.EXPERIENCES:
Vilshärad and Haverdalsstrand together create a three kilometer long sandy beach with fine, high sand dunes and different habitats. Haverdals nature reserve stretches along the entire beach with nature trails, pilgrimage and hiking trails. The nature reserve has a fantastic magic forest with whirling pines and picnic areas.There are separate riding trails, several scenic and city-close cycling trails as well as good fishing opportunities.
At Strandgården you can combine a dip in the sea with hiking in the nature reserve, surfing or just being and experiencing the sunset over the sea.
In the immediate area there are golf facilities that offer, among other things, a 27-hole golf course, short-hole and jungle course and bang golf.
