The hostel is situated in Hagaby just south of Löttorp on northern Öland. It offers rustic and next door to a couple of farms with sheep, cows and horses. The building was originally a nineteenth-century manor farmhouse was converted into a guest house on 40 century.
From the hostel is close to the wonderful child friendly sandy beaches. A small path leads across the meadows to the sea on the east side. The surroundings are also perfect for cycling trips through Öland's unique landscape with Sweden trail and Ölandsleden next to the hostel ..

FACILITY:

Choose between double rooms, 4-bed rooms, apartments with private shower and toilet, cozy retro cottages. Large kitchens and dining rooms are available in several of the houses and you can also rent the white villa, which is a detached villa with 14 beds, or the red villa with 9 beds and its own sauna.

Our room

We have seven double rooms with comfortable box-spring beds upstairs in the yellow manor house. On the ground floor there is the reception as well as a large guest kitchen and a large dining room. Shared shower and toilet.
In the long red length are our ten four-bed rooms. Most rooms have twin beds and a bunk bed and there are sinks in the room. Shared shower and toilet. There is also a large guest kitchen and dining room, patios with barbecue facilities, volleyball court and boules court as well as large lawns to sunbathe or play football on.

Retro cabins

Do you want to live in one of our five retro cabins? The cottages have four beds, a simpler kitchen and cold water outdoors. You make dishes out in a dish corner under a roof. The cottages are a bit to themselves with large lawns, meadows and oak gardens around the corner. All cottages have their own patio with seating and parking opportunities next to the cottage. The cottages share showers and toilets located nearby in a newly built service house.

Apartments

We have two apartments for rent, a one-room apartment and a two-room apartment.
The studio apartment has 4 beds, 2 box-spring beds and a bunk bed, its own kitchen and shower and toilet. The apartment has its own furnished patio and parking right next door. The two-room apartment is located upstairs in our brewhouse, 2 bedrooms, 4 box-spring beds, kitchenette, own shower / WC and balcony.

White villa

For the large family, it is possible to rent the white villa with 14 beds in 6 rooms. The villa is an old manor house that is beautifully located and secluded in a large orchard. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, large common areas including terrace facing west with evening sun.

The red villa

9 beds, kitchen, bathroom and own sauna. Terrace and balcony.

Swimming 1,5 km, 18-hole golf course 4 km, Lådbilslandet 2 km, Lamb and pig 7 km, indoor & outdoor pool 3 km, hiking, cycling, fishing, windsurfing, bird watching.
From the farm you can wander across the beach to the ocean on the eastern side and look for orchids or watch birds early in the spring. Walk out to the seabed on Kroordorde a sunny morning and enjoy the silence and the beautiful view of Högby lighthouse. Örebro botanical companies found that the venue is among the best in Öland.

Just a few hundred meters from the facility there are wonderfully rich orchid meadows and beautiful pastures. It was not a nature reserve, which surprised us. Cut spots out in the groundwater were to the delight of those interested in birds - and they were probably most of us. "
Birding is fantastic with, inter alia, nesting sea eagles and many waders, gulls and ducks. The nightingale is often heard. Many birdwatchers return every year and tells the lyrical about all the birds they have seen and heard. Spotting scopes and binoculars frequently lent free.
Öland perceived otherwise, best by bicycle. Both Ölandsleden and Sweden trail passes the farm on the old road and you can easily visit both the western and eastern shore the same day as the island is narrowest in the north.
On the eastern side there are elongated fine sandy beaches and on the west side's cliff beaches you can enjoy a late picnic in beautiful sunset. Since the northern island of Öland has a living agricultural landscape, the picnic can consist of locally produced products; goat cheese, biscuits, sausages, strawberries, vegetables and good bread from the bakery's bakery.
